Kikuletwa Hotsprings
Kikuletwa hot spring is among the best natural water springs found in the Kilimanjaro region though here there’s not much to explore thus just be ready to spend the day swimming in the kikuletwa natural hot water spring, kikuletwa.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi take a dive to small town called Boma ng’ombe the take dust road and drive for about 30 minutes through the local villages once approaching the hot spring you will also see some onions farms, arrive at the kikuletwa hot spring have your swimming gears on and start enjoying most of the time here spent on swimming and rest on the mattress have nap then get back swimming till your body says yes it’s enough then get in the vehicle start the drive back to hotel where the tour ends.
Lake Chala Day Trip
Lake Chala, also known as Dschalla, is crater in caldera on the Borders of Kenya and Tanzania on the eastern edge of Mount Kilimanjaro, 8km north of Taveta and 55 kms from the town of Moshi. Depending on the time of year, it ranges in colour from deep blue to turquoise and green, it is surrounded by a 100 meters high crater rim.
The lake is fed by groundwater flows, which come from Mount Kilimanjaro, fed and drained underground with a rate of about 10 million m³ / year. Even the Chala loses volume. Its level had dropped in the last 6 years, by 2.4 meters; at the start of 2011 the water level has risen again by over 1 meter.

Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Tour
Nestled on the mountain slopes of Kilimanjaro lies the beautiful coffee village of Materuni. Produce your own cup of coffee from tree to cup. Receive first hand secrets of what makes a good cup of coffee from the local Chagga people. Only a small hike from the village lie the homonymous 80m high Materuni waterfalls. A relaxing swim in Kilimanjaro’s Fletcher water grown the day.
Begin the day with a short drive up onto the slopes of Kilimanjaro, to the village of Materuni, approximately 1,800 m above sea level. This lush rain forest region is known for producing some of the best coffee in East Africa. Start the day with a visit to a small coffee farm and learn about how the coffee is grown, harvested and processed locally. Try your own hand at processing, roasting and preparing a fresh cup of coffee in the local Chagga way. Once you have finished enjoying your coffee break, you will depart on a beautiful 45 minute hike through the hills and valleys en route to the waterfalls. Along the way your guide will teach you about local plants and how they are used for food and traditional medicine, as well as giving you more insight into the local Chagga culture.
The waterfalls are hidden in a pristine valley with cliffs towering up to 200ft overhead. The water falls straight down in a curtain to land in a small pool where you can relax, take lunch and go for a swim in the chill mountain waters. After the falls hike you will return back to the car and return to Moshi. This is an experience you are sure to love, full of natural beauty, engaging education, and of course coffee.
